Physician Profile Overview
Administration > Physician > Profile
The Physician Profile serves many purposes. All providers that will be scheduled or referenced in HST Practice Management must first be entered in the Physician Profile: including anesthesiologists, supporting physicians, referring physicians, and CRNAs. Once a physician is entered, the Physician Profile affords the user the ability to track additional information such as Licenses, Privileges, Credentials, and Insurance.
- Information entered in this screen will interface with other areas of HST Practice Management including Reports, Scheduling, and Billing.
- Example: In Appointment, when a physician is entered on a case, HST Practice Management can cross check the status and expiration information on the Credentials/Insurance tab of the Physician Profile. Any discrepancies will display under Credentialing Comments on the Appointment when the physician is entered.
